Welcome to The Embroiderers’ Guild of Tasmania Inc.

The Embroiderers’ Guild of Tasmania, founded in 1968, promotes and encourages the co-operation and interchange of ideas among those engaged in or interested in embroidery and related crafts. This is achieved through informal weekly meetings where members work on a wide range of embroidery styles. The extensive library is available to extend members’ skills. There are also regular workshops, classes and an exciting  Juniors Group program that runs between February and November, meeting once a month.

Recent News:

The year has nearly finished and we celebrated with a scrumpious lunch supplied by the members.  we were fortunate to have several of our senior members as well as Dr. Douglas join us on the day.

We are now back after the summer break.  We have had a successful class with Gary Clark and welcomed some new members in the first two weeks. Our Stitch of the Month was held on Thursday and the members were busy increasing the number of poppies for Anzac Day.
